Well... I'm about half way thru the Cubase operation manual (782 pages) and I'm reading it in a more parallel than sequential way as I work on some experimental stuff.
Cubase SL/SX is a package optimized to take advantage of the dual processor capabilities of the G4, and man you can tell! This is the Mac's shinning point! low audio latency is a must! I'm happy to have a mac! "A Music Computer" :) I played around with a 2.53GHz PC using Cubase SX and latency with VST instruments wasn't too good. Long live The MAC!
Oh .....and now.... all of those old VST plugs can be used as AudioUnits with the Fxpansion VST-AU Adapter from www.fxpansion.com :)
Anyone of you know any tricks or tools to make custom AUs? Let me know.
